This is not enough information to assume both formulas carry the same hazards. Match the exact product, manufacturer, formulation, and current documentation before routine use.

A useful SDS reading sequence begins with identification (Section 1) and hazard identification (Section 2). Next, examine first-aid measures (Section 4), handling and storage (Section 7), and exposure controls/personal protection (Section 8). Chemical compatibility, ventilation needs, and glove recommendations are product-dependent. An SDS may provide limited glove detail, so check glove-manufacturer chemical-resistance guidance as well.

Decision scenario C: chemical was moved into a small secondary container for later use. Follow hazard communication labeling rules applicable to the workplace. A handwritten brand abbreviation alone may not convey necessary identity and hazard information. Limited immediate-use exceptions are context-specific and should not be assumed for later storage.

Study distinction: the SDS communicates workplace hazards; the product label and manufacturer directions guide use; state salon rules govern applicable professional procedures. No one source replaces all others.
